An epic concert by La Renga took place at the Municipal Sports Center No. 2 in San Rafael, drawing thousands of fans from various parts of the country and Mendoza. The show featured Gustavo "Chizzo" Nápoli, Gabriel "Tete" Iglesias, José "Tanque" Iglesias, and Manu Varela, who provided an exciting night of rock that will go down in the history of Mendoza's culture.
Before the concert, an operation was implemented to gather viewers between Parque Norte and Paseo Luis Huerta, without any significant incidents. Once the concert was over, a strong cleaning operation was deployed to restore order to Sports Center No. 2 and its surroundings.
La Renga's performance started at 10:30 PM with "Buena Ruta" and continued with an extensive journey through their 36 years of career. The event was a total success, with entire families arriving from various points in the country, Chile, and Uruguay, who praised the hospitality received in San Rafael and the natural charms of the place.
The concert featured a repertoire that included both recent songs by the band and classics like "Veneno," "El Viento que Todo Empuja," "El Juicio del Ganso," and "Oportunidad Oportuna." The climax came with "Hablando de la Libertad," the song that marked the end of the adrenaline-filled show that only La Renga can offer.
Despite being a private production, the San Rafael Municipality took care to guarantee basic services and the necessary provision to contribute to the success of the cultural celebration. After the concert, the thousands of fans left without incidents, eager for La Renga's next stop in El Calafate on March 22.
